D23 60AH
D23 12.8V 60AH
10 YEAR WARRANTY
World-beating, best in class, ten year manufacturer defect warranty.
STORAGE CAPACITY
60 Ampere hours (Ah). Thunderwave Lithium batteries provide consistent power for all 60 Amp hours. LiFePO4 batteries have a flat voltage curve which means they have a steady power output as the battery discharges. The power output will not dramatically drop like similar sized SLA batteries.
VOLTAGE
12.8V (Thunderwave Lithium 12V batteries can be used in series for up to 48V systems)
ENGINE STARTING POWER
Lithium battery equivalent to 660 Cold Cranking Amps(CCA) of lead acid battery
engine starting power. Suitable for automotive and other applications.
SIZE
9.05"x 6.85"x 7.87” (230*174*200mm)
ENERGY
768 Watt-hours (Wh)
WEIGHT
12.45 lbs (5.65 Kg). 2/3 lighter than a SLA or lead battery.
HIGH EFFICIENCY AND ENERGY SAVING
Compared to traditional lead-acid batteries, the Thunderwave car starter and cranking lithium battery has high charge and discharge efficiency, with stable voltage. It effectively reduces the number of times and duration the generator starts charging, minimizing the time of engine drives the generator. In turn, reduces the average engine load, achieving improved power performance and reduced fuel consumption.
Test Results: Achieves fuel savings of 0.83 gallons per 100 miles (may vary with different vehicle models and road conditions).
LIFECYCLES (BATTERY LIFESPAN)
While ordinary lead-acid batteries typically last 2-3 years and AGM/starter&cranking battery specialized batteries last 4-6 years, the Thunderwave starter&cranking lithium battery has a deep cycle life of over 3000 cycles, providing a lifespan of over 10 years.
EXTREME TEMPERATURE PERFORMANCE
The Thunderwave car starter&cranking lithium battery utilizes customized high-rate phosphate iron lithium cells. The positive electrode material is phosphate iron lithium, and the negative electrode material is carbon. The chemical reaction process does not produce gas, preventing capacity decay caused by the precipitation of active substances in low temperatures. At -20°C(-4°F ) , the capacity decay rate of the phosphate iron lithium high-rate cells is around 10%. With high density, the battery can store more energy in a smaller volume, enabling it to deliver stable current output in low-temperature conditions. The battery starts normally at -20°C(-4°F ) and it performs well in a laboratory environment at a high temperature of 75° C (167°F) during continuous charge and discharge cycles for 10 hours with no abnormalities.
Test Results: -30°C (-22°F) still maintain at good operating condition.
SAFETY
The battery features customized high-rate phosphate iron lithium cells, which withstand multiple short-circuits, punctures, and deformations without catching fire. The phosphate iron lithium has a thermal runaway temperature of 750 °C (1382°F), demonstrating mature safety stability. The independently developed Battery Management System (BMS) effectively protects the battery from overcharging, low voltage, exceeding rated current, short circuits, and high and low temperatures, ensuring stable performance.
CERTIFICATIONS
AII Thunderwave batteries are UN38.3 certified. Thunderwave Lithium's cells are UL1642 certified and meets all US & International regulations for air, ground, train, & marine transport.
INSURANCE COVERAGE
All Thunderwave batteries are insured by AXA, a global insurance provider based in France.
Solid replacement.
"Installed in a 2017 Toyota Tacoma. Exactly what I needed. No issues with fitment, and the car electronics seem to run smoother."
