1.Can I replace the original car lead-acid battery, which is rated at 12V?
Yes, it can be replaced. Our product is rated 0.8V higher than the original, resulting in stronger spark plug ignition, fuller gasoline combustion, increased vehicle power, improved fuel efficiency, and brighter car headlights.
2.Can it replace the original AGM/EFB start-stop battery?
Our product is specifically designed to perfectly replace various lead-acid start-stop batteries. It provides greater starting current than AGM batteries, resulting in shorter start-up time, lower fuel consumption during start-up, and a significantly longer lifespan compared to lead-acid batteries.
3.What about self-discharge performance?
Conventional lead-acid batteries typically maintain charge for 3 to 5 months. Coupled with the car's static power consumption, they may fail to start after 2 to 3 months of storage. However, lithium iron phosphate batteries can maintain charge for over 24 months, even with the vehicle's static power consumption, ensuring smooth start-up after 15 months of storage.
4.What is a lithium iron phosphate battery, and how mature is the technology?
A lithium iron phosphate battery uses lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) as the positive electrode material and carbon as the negative electrode material. It offers higher energy density, superior electrochemical performance, good safety performance, and longer cycle life compared to lead-acid batteries. It is widely used in power tools, energy storage systems, and new energy vehicles.
5.How about safety?
Lithium iron phosphate batteries have the most advantageous safety performance among lithium-ion battery materials. Their thermal runaway temperature can reach up to 750 degrees Celsius (compared to 250 degrees Celsius for ternary lithium batteries), and they do not catch fire or explode even with overcharging, similar to lead-acid batteries.
6.Comparison of product weight with lead-acid batteries.
The weight of lithium iron phosphate batteries is generally 1/4 to 1/3 that of lead-acid batteries, effectively reducing vehicle weight, saving fuel consumption, and improving acceleration response.
7.How does it perform in harsh starting environments?
